Vice Chancellor and Provost Eric F. Spina gave his first address to the Syracuse University faculty on Oct. 24. He spoke of advancing faculty excellence and scholarly distinction in the context of the University's vision, Scholarship in Action.
Spina also honored all University, distinguished, trustee and alumni professors. Special recognition was extended to distinguished and endowed chair professors who have been appointed within the past two years.
