The Raymond Carver Reading Series concludes this semester with a fiction reading by Jonathan Baumbach on April 23. The reading starts at 5:45 p.m. in Gifford Auditorium in Syracuse University's Huntington Beard Crouse Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
Jonathan Baumbach is the author of several books, including "B," "Reruns," "Babble" and "The Life and Times of Major Fiction." His stories have appeared in Esquire, Partisan Review and Fiction International, as well as many other journals and magazines. He co-founded Fiction Collective, the first large scale writing cooperative in America. He has written on movies for Partisan Review and is a former chairman of the National Society of Film Critics. He teaches at Brooklyn College.
