University Union Comedy has announced the first show of the year with Bill Bellamy and special guest Alonzo Bodden on Thursday, Sept. 13, at 8 p.m. in Goldstein Auditorium in the Hildegarde and J. Myer Schine Student Center.

Tickets -- $7 for students with SU I.D., $10 for faculty and staff and $20 for the public -- are on sale now at the Schine Box Office. Parking is available in the Marion lot and the University's paid visitor lots on a space-available basis.

Bellamy, the host of "Last Comic Standing," is also known for his appearances in "Any Given Sunday" and "How to Be a Player." Bodden was the third season winner of "Last Comic Standing" and is currently a judge on the show.

"After watching both comedians on `Last Comic Standing,' Bellamy hosting and Bodden judging, it seemed natural to pair them together for this event," says University Union Comedy Co-Director Julie Knapp.

"Both the comedians appeal to a large cross-section of the SU community," says University Union Comedy Co-Director Zach Wortzel. "Bellamy and Bodden are a perfect combination of comedic styles to put on a show with wide mass appeal."
