Nasrine Seraji, principal of the firm Atelier Seraji in Paris and chair of Cornell University's architecture department, will speak at Syracuse University's School of Architecture on Jan. 21. at 7 p.m. The event will take place in 108 Slocum Hall; it is free and open to the public.
Born in Tehran, Seraji is the architect of the Temporary American Centre in Paris and the Pavilion of the Caverne de Dragon in northern France. She is presently building complexes in Paris and Vienna. Her work has been exhibited widely, including at the Galerie d'Architecture in Paris, the Royal Institute of British Architects in London and the Venice Biennale. "Nasrine Seraji: Architecture as Territory" was recently published by Libria Press.
