SUnews@syr.eduWilliam Safire '51, H'78 looks on as Richard Mayeux, the Sergievsky Professor of Neurology, Psychiatry and Epidemiology at Columbia University, makes a point at "Speaking of Science," held June 12 at The Dana Center in Washington, DC. The event, co-sponsored by The College of Arts and Sciences and The Dana Foundation, which Safire chairs, was titled "Alzheimer's Disease: When Will We Find a Cure?" Other panelists included Marilyn Albert, professor of neurology at The Johns Hopkins University (JHU); Allan Levey, professor and chair of neurology at Emory University; and moderator Guy McKhann, professor of neurology at JHU.
