The words of the First Amendment appear on the facade of the still-under-construction Newhouse III building. The text is etched in the glass windows, beginning at the Waverly Avenue entrance and finishing on the wall that faces the main campus. The building is scheduled for completion in August 2007.
Construction is being funded through a $15 million grant from the Samuel I. Newhouse Foundation, one of the largest private donations in SU's history.
