Summer construction activities involving the Life Sciences Complex at Syracuse University (http://lifesciences.syr.edu/main.html) necessitate that certain roadways on the University Hill be closed and some Centro bus service be detoured from May 14 to June 3.

For a map of the closures and detours, visit the SU Office of Campus Planning, Design, and Construction website (http://odc.syr.edu) and click on "Summer Road Closures."

From May 14 to June 3, the section of Euclid Avenue between College Place and Comstock Avenue will be closed, as will the section of University Place between Comstock Avenue and Ostrom Avenue.

During this time, city busses going to downtown, as well as Warehouse and Sadler/Brewster Boland busses, will operate via regular routing.

City busses coming from downtown or operating to Nob Hill, Drumlins and
Westcott will not drop off or pick up at College Place. Instead, customers will be able to board or exit the bus at University Place (eastbound) at College Place or mid-block on Comstock Avenue between University Place and Euclid Avenue.

Manley and South Campus busses will operate to campus via Comstock Avenue, left on Waverly Avenue, left on Crouse Avenue and left on University Place. Manley and South Campus busses that leave campus to return customers to South Campus will stop at University Place (eastbound) at College Place and also mid-block on Comstock Avenue between University Place and Euclid Avenue.

Liverpool, Cicero-North Syracuse, Camillus and Central Square busses that normally start their afternoon trips at College Place will instead pick up on Comstock Avenue mid-block between University Place and Euclid Avenue.

After this phase of construction work on the Life Sciences Complex is completed, other portions of campus roadways will be closed and bus service rerouted temporarily starting June 4. Detailed information on these changes will be provided later this month.
