Abiola Adeniyi, a magazine major in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, speaks with sixth-graders from Syracuse's Edward Smith Elementary School during Media Literacy Day April 27. The event, sponsored by the Newhouse School, was organized with the goal of increasing communications understanding among primary school students. About 90 students came to Newhouse to attend classes on newspapers, television and advertising/public relations taught by Newhouse professors.
