A student peruses "The Full Deck: Collaborative Playing Card Showcase," which is on display until the end of April in Shaffer Galleria. The exhibition was designed as a way to connect former SU students with current ones by inviting them to participate in a show based around a common theme.
Foundation students and alumni created the fronts of the 54 playing cards and surface pattern design students designed the backs. A communications design major was involved with designing the show installation, logo and packaging. A full deck will be juried in by faculty from illustration, industrial design, painting and surface pattern design; that deck will be printed over the summer.
