Mary Virginia Willie Gauthier coaches a group of singers during a workshop called "The Negro Spiritual in the History of American Music," held recently in Setnor Auditorium in Crouse College. She and Harlan London conducted the workshop, which covered the history and interpretation of spirituals, as well as practice in singing them.
