For graduating Syracuse University students and their family and friends who are making preparations for Commencement Weekend, May 11-13, a newly designed and up-to-date website offers a wealth of information on details leading up to the weekend and provides comprehensive answers to the most commonly asked questions.

Found at http://commencement.syr.edu, the site includes dates and times for key Commencement events, maps for guest travel and parking, the latest news and updates, and extensive details on the weekend. Included is a PDF version of the annual Commencement information booklet, which can be easily downloaded.

For students planning to take part in graduation activities in May, the site includes information on completing necessary details, such as filing a diploma request card and obtaining a cap and gown, and also lists important dates, times and instructions for convocations, receptions, school and college special events and the Commencement ceremony and rehearsal.

For family members and guests planning to attend a wide range of activities and ceremonies during Commencement weekend, the site has information on area lodging, directions to campus, weekend schedules, protocol for convocations and Sunday's ceremony, and the most current news.

The Commencement website was designed by SU's Office of Electronic Media Communications in collaboration with the Office of Special Events.
