Syracuse University's 2007 Homecoming celebration will be held Oct. 11-14, marking the first time that Homecoming and Reunion -- traditionally held in the fall and in the spring, respectively -- will be combined into one large alumni campus event in the fall.
"The Office of Alumni Relations is thrilled to inaugurate this new tradition," says Andrea Latchem, assistant vice president for alumni relations. "When our alumni return, they will find some of their favorite Reunion and Homecoming events, but also a variety of new and exciting academic, cultural and social programs. This is a weekend not to be missed."
All alumni are invited back to campus to participate in the weekend's events. Special recognition will be given to reunion classes ending in 2 and 7, from the Class of 1937 to the Class of 2002. The recent graduates of 2007 will be invited back to campus as the University's newest alumni members.
Preliminary details on Homecoming Weekend can be found on the Homecoming website,
