Classes resume as scheduled

The determination has been made to continue classes as scheduled Thursday.


All Syracuse University administrative offices will be open at regular hours.


While travel conditions to and from campus are expected to be favorable today, individuals are cautioned to take care when outdoors, as high winds and low wind chills have been forecasted.

A few events have been canceled today due to weather-related concerns:


Thursday Morning Roundtable presentation by guest speaker Marsha Weissman, executive director, Center for Community Alternatives, 8:15-9:15 a.m. at Drumlins


Institute for Retired Professionals meeting, noon at the First Baptist Church


USA Today sports columnist Christine Brennan speaking at 11 a.m. in Room 202, Hall of Languages, and at 3:30 p.m. in the Peter Graham Scholarly Commons, E.S. Bird Library
