SU Library, Office of Residence Life team up to bring another 'Dark and Brainy Night' to SU Feb. 23

Syracuse University's Office of Residence Life and the Syracuse University Library are co-sponsoring the second annual Library Lock-In: "It was a Dark and Brainy Night at Bird Library," on Friday, Feb. 23, from 10 p.m.-2 a.m. at E.S. Bird Library. As many as 120 students will be competing in teams of two to answer questions using resources located in the library. During breaks, the students will enjoy prize drawings, food and games.


The grand prize is a $275 gift certificate for each team member to the SU Bookstore. Second place is a $100 gift certificate for each team member to Carousel Center, and third place is a $50 gift certificate for each team member to Best Buy.


The registration fee for each team is $10. Registration packets can be picked up at all residence hall main desks and should be returned to the Office of Residence Life, 111 Waverly Ave., Suite 200, by Feb. 19. The event is open to all students who live on campus.


Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to volunteer for the event and should contact Kristen Samec, residence director, at kesamec@syr.edu for details.
