TV writer/producer Rob Edwards '85 to visit Newhouse

Television writer/producer Rob Edwards '85 will visit the Syracuse University campus as a guest of the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications' Leaders in Communications Lecture Series. He will present "The Sixth Annual Conversation on Race and Television" with Newhouse television-radio-film professor Richard Dubin on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 7:30 p.m. in Studio A, Newhouse II. A reception and informal discussion will follow the presentation. The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in SU pay lots.


Edwards has worked on several high-profile television shows, including "Full House," "In Living Color" (for which he garnered an Emmy nomination) and "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air." Most recently, he worked with fellow SU alumnus Aaron Sorkin '83 on NBC's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip."
