As part of the annual Newhouse Hollywood Seminar, 10 students from the Newhouse School of Public Communications recently spent five days in Hollywood to get a first-hand look at the entertainment business. Here, the students visit the set of ABC's soap opera "General Hospital" as one of their stops in meeting with leading executives, producers, directors and writers in the television, film and music industries.
The Hollywood Seminar, sponsored by the Newhouse School and SU's Office of Program Development, was established in 1984 and more than 265 Newhouse seniors and graduate students have participated in the seminars.
