Target and the Center for Career Services will present the Sixth Annual Emerging Student Leaders Reception on Feb. 7, 2007. This event is geared toward identifying and recognizing rising student leaders. It serves as an opportunity for students to interact with those who can assist them in reaching their full leadership potential; helps students think about their undergraduate plans; and enhances their awareness of opportunities that exist both on campus and in the community.
The Center for Career Services is asking colleagues across campus for assistance in identifying and forwarding names of rising student leaders, preferably first- or second-year students, who display the characteristics of a leader but have yet to engage those skills.
Emerging student leaders will be recognized for their accomplishments to date, learn more about leadership opportunities that exist both at Syracuse University and in the community, and have an opportunity to network with employers, faculty, staff and student leaders.
