Syracuse University Vice Chancellor and Provost Deborah A. Freund will present her annual state of the University address, "The Challenges of Excellence," this Tuesday, March 25 at 4:15 p.m. in Grant Auditorium.
Freund will review the key events and accomplishments of the past year, in particular the progress made in implementing the Academic Plan. The speech will look ahead to the next critical challenges facing the University, and Freund will also announce this year's Alumni, University and Distinguished Professorship appointments.
