Attendees of the 13th annual International League of Muslim Women Inc. conference gathered at Maxwell Auditorium on July 9 to hear a public address by Imam W. Deen Mohammed, the spiritual leader of an estimated 2.5 million American Muslims. The event also featured a tribute to Muslim Americans who have served in the US military, law enforcement, firefighting or government agencies.
