On Monday, July 10, at 1 p.m. at Drumlins Country Club's East Course, the Department of Recreation Services will host a charity golf tournament and silent auction to benefit the William A. Leaf Scholarship Fund at Henninger High School. Leaf '02, a local TV and radio reporter who perished in a car accident this January, was a Syracuse University alumnus and former student employee of the Department of Recreation Services.

The event is open to all SU and SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry faculty and staff, as well as spouses and domestic partners. Staff who wish to participate should speak with their supervisor to request time out of the office. The tournament is a shotgun-start, captain-and-crew format, with four-person teams in men's, women's and mixed divisions. Individual registrants will be formed into teams by the event organizers.
Lunch will be served as part of the registration fee. Free, non-alcoholic beverages will be available on the course, and a buffet dinner and silent auction will be held following the tournament, starting at about 6 p.m.

Registration is $60 per person, with a registration deadline of July 7. To register, or for more information, contact Joe Lore at jdlore@syr.edu, 443-4386, or visit Room 241 of Archbold Gymnasium.
