On Friday, May 5, graduate filmmakers in Syracuse University's College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) will have their work showcased in "Distilling Truth," the 2006 VPA Graduate Film Screening. "Distilling Truth" consists of experimental narrative films on 16mm from 11 graduate filmmakers. Screenings begin at 6 p.m. at Westcott Cinema, 524 Westcott St. The program is free and open to the public.
Student filmmakers whose work will be screened are Chris Aaron, Stacy Barton, Megan Ehrhart, Mu Ge, Jinwook Kim, Yoonkyong Kwon, Jessica Lance, Cesar "Dr. Jules" Medina, Kevin Meegan, Torry Mendoza and Ryan Tebo.
