Mozart's "Missa Brevis in C Major" will be the major work performed by the Hendricks Chapel Choir at its Spring Concert on April 30 in Syracuse University's Hendricks Chapel. The concert begins at 4 p.m. and is free and open to the public. Parking will be available in the Irving Garage.
Director John Warren will conduct the program, which will include a variety of choral music and works by Pergolesi, Billings, Beethoven, Durufle and Thompson, as well as folk music from Cameroon and Haiti.
Accompanists for the program will include University Organist Christopher Marks and a professional orchestra. Vocal soloists for the Mozart portion of the program will be soprano Janet Brown, alto Carolyn Weber, tenor Jon English and baritone Joseph Rinaldi.
