On Saturday, March 18, at noon, the Syracuse St. Patrick's Parade Committee will host Syracuse's 24th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. For the fifth consecutive year, Syracuse University will organize participation along the parade route by students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the University. SU will provide its parade-goers with transportation between campus and the parade route, lunch, prizes and giveaways.

SU's participation is organized by the Office of Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS),
the Office of Government and Community Relations, and the Department of Public Safety.
The deadline to RSVP is March 10. For more information or to sign up, call
Off-Campus Student Services at (315) 443-5489 or e-mail ocsserv@syr.edu.

This year's parade theme is "a little bit of Heaven." New for this year, the parade will benefit the St. Patrick Hunger Project, a partnership of the parade committee with the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Food Bank of Central New York and the InterReligious Council of Central New York. Members of the SU community who participate are asked to bring donations of nonperishable foods.
