The Syracuse University College of Law welcomes all undergraduate minority students who wish to learn more about law school to a program Feb. 23 from 11:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the Alumni Heritage Lounge on the third floor of E.I. White Hall. The program brings together faculty, current students and alumni to share their experiences and outline expectations with undergraduate students who are considering a law degree.
"We want interested students to understand what it's really like to be in law school and learn how a J.D. can open up the door to many career opportunities," says Nichole Henry, assistant director of admissions. "This program helps undergraduate students explore their options and spend time with legal professionals and students."
Space is limited due to the classroom seating for the program. Those planning to attend must R.S.V.P. by Feb. 20 to 443-1962 or admissions@law.syr.edu.
