Whitman School to host lecture on commercial real estate

The Real Estate Club of the Martin J. Whitman School of Management at Syracuse University will host a lecture on commercial real estate by Michael Kalet, director of sales and associate broker at NAI Pyramid Brokerage Co., Inc. The lecture will begin at 7 p.m. on Feb. 22 in Room 103 of the Whitman School building.


Pyramid Brokerage Co. is upstate New York?s largest regional, commercial real estate services firm, with offices located in Albany, Binghamton, Buffalo, Corning, Elmira, Ithaca, Rochester, Syracuse, Utica and Watertown.


The Real Estate Club at Syracuse University is the fastest-growing club in the Whitman School. The club was established to provide a forum for students with an interest in real estate to lean more about the industry. The areas of real estate that are covered by guest speakers and site visits include architecture, construction, development, finance, law, management and sales. The club was established last semester. Whitman senior Justin Sutter is the club president, and Yildiray Yildirim, assistant professor of finance, is the faculty advisor.
