The Syracuse University University Union Speakers Board will present Paul Rusesabagina, the real-life hero portrayed in the film "Hotel Rwanda," Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. in Hendricks Chapel. His lecture, "Hotel Rwanda: A Lesson Yet to be Learned," will touch upon genocide, cultural identities and the true story of Rwanda.

Tickets are available at the Schine Box Office, (315) 443-4517. They are $4 for the general public and $2 for students with I.D. Parking is available in Irving Garage and the Comstock Avenue lot for $3 per vehicle.

Rusesabagina made a promise to protect his family as the country of Rwanda descended into madness during an attempted genocide 10 years ago by the Hutu militia; he would go on to save more than 1,200 people. The film "Hotel Rwanda" was nominated for three Academy Awards.
