Syracuse University Film Forum will screen Fellini's "Amarcord" this Friday, Sept. 23, at 8 p.m., in Room 254 of Newhouse II. In this carnivalesque portrait of provincial Italy during the Fascist period, Fellini satirizes his youth and turns daily life into a circus of rituals, sensations and emotions. Tickets are $3 and are available at the Schine Student Center Box Office or by calling (315) 443-4517.

Film Forum screens vintage and contemporary films on Friday evenings
throughout the academic year. For a complete schedule of upcoming screenings,
visit http://filmforum.syr.edu.

Film Forum is dedicated to the viewing and study of both vintage and
contemporary films. Aimed at students, faculty, staff and community members,
it engenders interest in the history of motion pictures by the presentation of
retrospective programs and personalities in the film world and the collection
of an archive of classic films representing the history of cinema. It is a
collaborative effort between the Division of Student Affairs, Electronic
Media Services and the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
