On Oct. 6 at 6 p.m., Syracuse University's Community Design Center (CDC) in the School of Architecture will host a neighborhood workshop to discuss housing issues in the Danforth area of Syracuse's South Side. The workshop will be held at the Martin Luther King School, 416 East Raynor St. The workshop is free and open to the public. The local community is invited to participate. The workshop is sponsored in part by Syracuse Common Councilor Van Robinson.

CDC students are currently researching housing issues that will inform proposals for the Danforth neighborhood. To best serve the community, the CDC is seeking residents' input. The meeting will focus on gathering information and ideas from not only Danforth area residents, but all South Side residents.
