Video clips of the Syracuse University cheerleaders, the University's mascot Otto the Orange and campus scenes are scheduled to be included in the Jan. 16 episode of "Emeril Live." The episode is a "college cooking" show that will feature an audience of all college students. The Syracuse University footage that will be used on the show was shot by SU's Office of Electronic Media Communications at the request of the "Emeril Live" staff.
"Emeril Live" is broadcast locally at 8 p.m. on the Food Network (Channel 51 in the city of Syracuse; Channel 46 in the suburbs). During the show, Emeril Lagasse--a master chef and owner of New Orleans' most talked-about restaurants--demonstrates gourmet cooking in front of a live audience.
