On Dec. 15 at 10 a.m., the Syracuse University College of Law will formally cut the ribbon for its New York State Science and Technology Law Center (NYS STLC), recently designated by the New York State Office of Science, Technology and Academic Research (NYSTAR). The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on the 4th floor of MacNaughton Hall. In attendance will be SU Chancellor Nancy Cantor; Russell Bessette, executive director of NYSTAR; Rich Allen from Wlech Allyn; and Theodore Hagelin, SU professor of law and director of the NYS STLC.
The NYS STLC will provide legal education, research, information and support services to the more than 30 research centers supported by New York State across the state. The NYSTAR grant is for more than $1 million over the next three years.
