The Syracuse University Wind Ensemble will perform on Nov. 21 in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium. The Ensemble will appear under the direction of John M. Laverty, professor of wind and percussion. The event will begin at 8 p.m.; the Setnor Auditorium is located in Crouse College.
Music by composers Miklos Rozsa, Chargles Griffes and Michael Daugherty will be performed. Also included in the program is "Culloden," by Julie Giroux, which was commissioned by Lt. Col. Alan Bonner for Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma, the national band fraternity and sorority. Leonard Bernstein's Overture to "Candide," will be conducted by graduate assistant, Joanna C. Anderson.
The concert is free and open to the public. Parking is available in Irving Garage.
