SU to present an evening of jazz Nov. 16

On Nov. 16, the Syracuse University's Rose, Jules R. and Sanford S. Setnor School will provide an evening of jazz for the campus and local communities. Held in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, the concert will begin at 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The Setnor Auditorium is located in Crouse College.

The concert will include the SU Jazz Nonet, which will perform works by Gerry Mulligan, Gil Evans and William DiCosimo; The SU Jazz String Quartet, which will perform works written by Dulce Person and Horace Silver and arranged by Joe Riposo; and the SU Faculty Jazz Ensemble, which will perform works by Tadd Dameron, Bobby Shew and Silver.

The evening of jazz is part of SU's Setnor Tuesday Night Concert Series, all of which are free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Irving garage.
