The St. Thomas More Foundation will host the first installment of the St. Thomas More Breakfast Series, Oct. 29 from 7:30-8:45 a.m. at the Alibrandi Catholic Center.
Guest speaker for the program will be Canice Connors, OFM Conv. Connors is the Minister Provincial of the Conventual Franciscan Friars of Immaculate Conception Province. He has also served as the President of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM). Canice is a consultant for a number of religious communities, a retreat director for clergy and has provided workshops, seminars and instruction in the United States, Canada and Australia. Connors earned his Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh.
"Fr. Canice is one the most engaging speakers in the American Church," says Fr. Tim Mulligan, OFM Cov., campus minister. "His presentation is sure to make us ask questions about the theological underpinnings in regard to faith and how it interacts with political life. We are grateful that Fr. Canice can join us."
The Alibrandi Center is located at 110 Walnut Pl. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased at the door.
