Syracuse University's Rose, Jules R. and Sanford S. Setnor School will feature the Syracuse University Symphony, Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. The concert, in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, is free and open to the public.
James R. Tapia, associate professor in the Setnor School, will conduct the orchestra. Gregory Wood of the Setnor School will appear as a soloist, and Amy Wert, a graduate student, will be the guest conductor.
The evening's program includes "Short Ride in a Fast Machine" by John Adams, "Concerto in C Major for Cello" by Haydn, "The Unanswered Question" by Charles Ives and "Four Dance Episodes from 'Rodeo'" by Aaron Copland.
