Raymond Carver Reading Series features Roger Fanning Sept. 25

The Raymond Carver Reading Series continues this week with a poetry reading by Roger Fanning on Sept. 25. The reading starts at 5:45 p.m. in Gifford Auditorium.

Fanning is the author of two books of poems, "Homesick" and "The Island Itself," a National Poetry Series selection. His poems have appeared in The New Yorker, Parnassus and The Kenyon Review, as well as in The New American Poets, Best American Poetry 1993 and Hammer and Blaze. The recipient of a Whiting Award, Fanning teaches in the M.F.A. Program for Writers at Warren Wilson College.

The Raymond Carver Reading Series is supported by The College of Arts and Sciences, the Syracuse University Library Associates, Stephen King and the Dr. Scholl Foundation.
