Kenneth Meyer, affiliate artist in Syracuse University's Rose, Jules R. and Sanford S. Setnor School of Music, will present a concert of chamber music for the classical guitar, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, located in Crouse College.

The concert will feature tangos for flute and guitar, spirituals, Venezuelan waltzes and the world premier of Nicolas Scherzinger's "Til I Become Accustomed to the Dark; Four Songs for Sopranos and Guitar." Scherzinger is an assistant professor at the Setnor School. Meyer will be joined by Syracuse Symphony members Janet Brown, Deborah Coble, Jennifer Kay and Joshua Dekaney, all affiliate artists in the Setnor School.

Meyer made his professional debut at the Teatro de la Opera de Maracay and has since performed in Europe, South America, and throughout North America.

The concert is part of SU's Tuesday Night Setnor Concert Series, and it free and open to the public. Parking is available in Irving Garage.
