Syracuse University's Hendricks Memorial Chapel will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, to allow for members of the Syracuse University and greater Syracuse community to engage in private reflection.
The day is the third anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and United Flight 93, which crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. More than 3,000 people died on that day.
The Hendricks Chapel chaplains will lead a brief interfaith service of prayers and readings at noon.
