Syracuse University will host the 2005 conference for the National Association of College and University Residence Halls (NACURH), the result of a successful bid by a team of students and administrators from the Office of Residence Life (ORL).
According to Rebecca Reed-Kantrowitz, the team of 27 SU students and three advisors' presentation at St. Louis University, before the 30-member National Board of Advisors, was "flawless-they 'nailed their parts' with lots of energy and creativity." Reed-Kantrowitz says that ORL will announce more detailed plans for the conference during the months to come.
