Abrams to deliver College of Law commencement address

Dan Abrams, best known for his work as an MSNBC anchor and chief legal correspondent for NBC News, will deliver the keynote address at the Syracuse University College of Law's Commencement, May 22 at 1 p.m. at the Oncenter in Syracuse.

"The Abrams Report" airs weeknights on MSNBC and highlights the nation's most publicized legal matters. A former Court TV reporter and anchor, Abrams joined NBC News as a general assignment correspondent in 1997. He has continued his legal reporting at NBC News for programs such as "NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams," "Today" and "Dateline NBC," covering a number of high-profile trials, including post-election legal battles, President William J. Clinton's impeachment trial and the Oklahoma City bombing trials and appeals.

A 1988 cum laude graduate of Duke University, Abrams received a bachelor of arts degree in political science. He received his law degree from Columbia University in 1992.
