Brian Carnes, a graduate student in Syracuse University's Rose, Jules R. and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music, will perform a trumpet recital April 24 at 5 p.m. Carnes studies with Professor Dan Sapochetti. Setnor faculty member Yih-Mei Hu will accompany Carnes on piano. Guest artists include junior Stephanie O'Dea, soprano; and graduate student Melissa Long on trumpet. They will perform works by Bozza, Pakhmutova and Handel.
The concert will take place in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, located in Crouse College. It is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Irving and University Avenue garages.
