SU Wind Ensemble to perform April 27

The Syracuse University Wind Ensemble, conducted by John M. Laverty, will perform in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, located in Crouse College, on April 27 at 8 p.m. The performance is free and open to the public. Parking is available in Irving Garage.

The program will include "Commando March" by Samuel Barber, "The Wind and the Lion" by Jerry Goldsmith, "Concertino Op. 26 for Solo Clarinet and Chamber Winds" by C.M. von Weber, "Elegy" by John Barnes Chance and "Hadra" by Laurence Bitensky. Peter A. Acosta, assistant director of SU bands, and Joseph Filio, band director at Liverpool High School, will be guest conductors
