SU student to perform voice recital Feb. 21

Rachel Roy, a junior at Syracuse University, will perform a voice concert in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium on Feb. 21 at 5 p.m; it is free and open to the public. The Setnor Auditorium is located in Crouse College.

Roy will perform selections from Monteverdi, Purcell, Strauss, Hageman, Dicosimo and Bononcini. She will also perform several selections of contemporary Christian pop music, including songs by Cece Winans, Avalon and Nicole Nordeman. She is a voice performance major and has performed as a soloist for the Gregg Smith Singers, with The Mandarins at the International Competition of Collegiate A Cappella, and in the American Choral Directors Association's National Women's Honors Choir.
