Syracuse University will host March 7 community forum for South Side residents

Syracuse University's Office of Government and Community Relations will host a South Side Community Forum from 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 7 at the Vivian Teal Howard Residential Health Care Facility, 116 East Castle St.


The forum will provide an opportunity for residents to meet with University officials to discuss and exchange information concerning the University and the surrounding community.


Some of the University/community programs that will be highlighted during the forum include the Center for Public and Community Service/Literacy Corps (highlighting partnerships with the Syracuse City School District), U-Reach-U, CNY Works, the Pre-Employment Project and the Liberty Partnership Project.


Refreshments will be served. All are welcome and the facility is handicapped accessible.
