Syracuse University's Morton Schiff Jazz Ensemble will perform on Feb. 17 as part of the Setnor Tuesday Night Concert Series in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium. The concert will begin at 8 p.m.
The Jazz Ensemble will play under the direction of Joe Riposo, SU's director of jazz studies; and John Coggiola, assistant professor of music. Among the composition to be performed are "Desolation Blues" by Ian Dougall, "Groove Merchant" by Thad Jones, "Spanish Steps" by Steve Spiegl and "Sax Test" by Tom Kubis. An original composition by Riposo will also be performed.
All Setnor Tuesday Concerts are free and open to the public. Parking is available at Irving Garage.
