Tonight, Feb. 8, the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University will host Chancellor Nancy Cantor and several other Syracuse-area college presidents in a forum titled "The Academy's Role in Community Development." The free, public forum will begin at 7 p.m. in Maxwell Auditorium, with a reception to follow.
Paid parking will be available in the Waverly lot and Irving Avenue garage.

In addition to Cantor, panelists will include Fr. Charles Beirne, president of LeMoyne College; Gregory Eastwood, president of SUNY Upstate Medical University; Cornelius B. Murphy, president of SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry; and Debbie Sydow, president of Onondaga Community College. Maxwell School Dean Mitchel Wallerstein will moderate. Community leaders have been invited to attend the event, which is sponsored in part by the Central New York Maxwell Alumni Association.
