HSHP, which will be created by the combining of the College for Human Development, the College of Nursing and the School of Social Work, will open July 1. The college will consist of two schools and three departments: the School of Nursing, the School of Social Work, the Department of Child and Family Studies, the Department of Marriage and Family Therapy, and the Department of Nutrition and Hospitality Management. The schools will be headed by directors and the departments by chairs.
Some HSHP administrative positions have not yet been filled, including associate dean of research and director of the School of Nursing. National searches are under way to fill those positions.
