Ben Folds to play sold out concert Jan. 29 at Syracuse University

Syracuse University's Spring semester will kick-off with a sold out concert featuring Ben Folds on Saturday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. The event is taking place in Goldstein Auditorium, located in the Schine Student Center. Doors open at 7:15 p.m.

During the next week there will be a number of chances to win tickets to the sold-out show. On Jan. 25 and Jan. 27 between 11 a.m.-3 p.m., students can enter to win one of three pairs of tickets. WERW 1570AM will also be giving away a pair of tickets, and a few businesses on Marshall Street will be giving away tickets as well. The former leader of the Chapel Hill, N.C., trio Ben Folds Five, Folds debuted his solo career with the critically acclaimed 2001 release "Rockin' the Suburbs."

The Ben Folds concert is being organized by University Union Concerts.
