Syracuse University Symphony Orchestra to perform Nov. 24 in Setnor Auditorium

The Syracuse University Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of James Tapia, will perform a concert at 4 p.m. Nov. 24 in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium in SU's Crouse College. The concert is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature solo performances by Setnor School of Music seniors Brian Fulmer and Justin Clark and graduate students Xiao-Ce Sun and Kevin Daisuke Shihoten. Works include "Beautiful Galatea Overture" by Franz von Suppe' with guest conductor Kristin Kopf, a graduate student in the Setnor School of Music; "Concerto for Tuba" by Edward Gregson; "Andante e Rondo Ungarese, Op. 35" by Carl Maria von Weber; and "Symphony No. 2 "Romantic" Op. 30 by Howard Hanson, among others.
