On Sunday, Nov. 23 the Syracuse University Women's Choir will host the Villanova Voices of Villanova University in a joint concert in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium. The concert will begin at 2 p.m. The Setnor Auditorium is located in Crouse College.
The 40-voice Villanova Voices are under the direction of Valerie C. Nutter. The 75-voice SU Women's Choir, under the direction of Barbara Tagg, will perform works by DeLasso, Holst, Jacobs, Hatfield, and feature a unique work by Canadian composer R. Murray Schafer titled "Snowforms," a piece written using non-traditional notation. The award winning Mandarins, the female a cappella ensemble whose members sing in the Women's Choir, will also perform. The concert is free and open to the public.
