SU's "Windjammer" to give fall concert Nov. 19

The Syracuse University Vocal Jazz Ensemble, known as "Windjammer," will perform their fall concert on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The concert will take place at 8 p.m. in the Rose and Jules R. Setnor Auditorium, located in Crouse College. It is free and open to the public.

This highly-selective 12-voice vocal ensemble with rhythm section has performed at various jazz festivals, concert halls, colleges, schools and clubs around the Northeast and has been featured live on WAER Jazz 88. The program will include music by Kern, Van Heusen, Cahn, Rodgers, Arlen and DiCosimo, representing a variety of jazz styles. Jazz vocalist Tish Oney directs Windjammer.

Parking is available in the Irving and University Avenue Garages.
